I grew up in the County of Surrey, in England.  Jack Russell
Terriers were as common place as pubs were on every corner.
My home was on the outskirts of Epsom Downs, home to
thoroughbred racing. As a child I rode pleasure horses and in my
teenage years, I exercised thoroughbred race horses on the
Downs for a trainer. Ever present in the yard of the stables were
the little Jack Russell Terriers.

A lot of years have passed since those days. I came to America
as a young woman, married and raised a family in New Jersey,
within "sight" of Manhattan.  In 1996 after our children were
launched, we moved to a farmhouse in the mountains of New
York State. Having found my way back to the countryside, I
frequented a pleasure riding stable in Cooperstown where I was
not surprised to again find Jack Russell Terriers involved in the
hustle and bustle of a horse stable.  The dexterity of these
muscular little powerhouses is intriguing. Due in part to their
intelligence, loyalty and attentiveness, this breed is widely owned
and admired.

Acquiring the Farm provided me with the ability to raise this
lovely breed in an appropriate environment, providing the space,
care and attention necessary for healthy, thriving Jacks. My
breeding females and two stud dogs were carefully selected to
emphasize the genetics required to meet the highest standards
for the breed.

The smooth coat Jack Russell Terriers I raise on the Farm are
available for show, breeding and as family pets and include
genetics from
premier breeders throughout the United States,
South Africa and the United Kingdom. The terriers are "shorties"
and when mature, will be between 9 and 12 inches high at the
withers.
